OK, I changed several things!
First, I used red onion, and caramelized them. Trust me. I also used sweet potatoes AND butternut squash because, why the hell not?
Also...I thought the flavor profile needed some serious change. All these wonderful autumnal sweets needed to be enhanced!
Approx 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1 tbsp garlic powder, and red pepper chili flakes. Taste as you go and add as needed. TRUST ME.
