Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Came out super flat. Added cacao and didn't freeze the dough

The recipe only made like 9 cookies so I would definitely want to scale up next time

It was not very good

These were way too soft and spread to easy. I wasn't thrilled with the texture. I used coconut oil.

How is it vegan if there's milk in it?

I did bake it for a bit longer, about 3min. The cookies didn’t last the day. The kids and my husband were obsessed and expect more lol

These were awesome! We had to bake longer than 11 minutes (closer to 15) and I did have to add an additional 1tbsp alt milk (as the recipe points out as a possibility), but otherwise these were great! We chose to use vegetable oil, AP flour, and regular sugar. Love that this made 11 cookies so I can make a few when the cravings hit or adjust to make more for a crowd. These also can be frozen.

I added some marshmallows on top before baking. Also replaced white sugar with honey. They turned out great, chewy but a bit too thin. Maybe I’ll put only 1 tbs milk next time to make the dough/cookies thicker.

Delicious. I made the amount for 11, but only got 8, so keep that in mind (maybe mine were bigger? Although they were not very big to my standards). I had to add a bit of extra milk but the dough came together nicely. Bear in mind there is a cooling time before the baking, so plan accordingly. They didn't spread as much as I expected, so I pressed them down flat with a spoon once I got them out of the oven. I wanted soft cookies, so after about 15 min cooling I moved them to a box and they have the perfect texture. The taste is heavenly. I recommend them and I will make them again. Made this again, this time I substituted about 25% of the flour with cocoa and I made 3x the recipe (33 cookies). I think I made them giants because I only got 10 total? But omg so good! Next time I am making 6x the recipe again!

Dough didn't come together. Mix was far too dry even after adding more oil and whisking for a long time.
