Chunky Ham and Bean Soup

Tastier than I thought it would be, would make again

Decent meal, used bacon instead and added a little smoked paprika. Not too heavy on flavor but still good enough.

Did not need additional salt but I did add fresh pepper to each bowl

LOVED THIS. I used mushrooms too since I used a frozen pre-prepped mix I make and keep in the freezer. I also added an additional cup of broth. This was SO good.

I added 1/2lb more ham and I wish I added another can of beans. I also added more seasonings, paprika, rosemary and parsley. I only had about a cup and a half of chicken broth so I filled in the rest with some vegetable broth and it still tasted amazing. This was just what we needed after a cold day! Definitely a new house favorite. Hubby said this is what we’re doing with the leftover Christmas ham this year.
