Creamed Spinach

More onion, garlic...skip milk add more heavy cream add 1/3 cup water instead... Delicious!

Didn't have cream, so bumped up the milk and cream cheese a bit to compensate.

I used just a sprinkle of cayenne. I roasted in oven for 50 minutes and was fall apart tender. Definitely going on the make again list.

This was yummy! I’d never made it before but my partner requested it after trying it at a steakhouse. I did blanch the spinach as the recipe calls because I hate that squeaky-teeth-texture you sometimes get from spinach—that took care of it! I used 1/2 c half and half instead of the milk/cream mix. Next time I might actually add one more bag of spinach. Great flavor and easy to make!

Good flavor. Made it as a side dish to go with sliced ham.

Delicious sauce. Keep in mind that spinach turns into nothing so dont be afraid to follow the recipe

I didn't have heavy cream so I just used sour cream, and I used about a tablespoon of pre-minced garlic and it was just fine. It turned out wonderfully and I look forward to making it again! I also did not find the cayenne in my spices and just left it at salt and pepper, which did leave it slightly lacking but I still thought it was good. It was somewhat fast paced cooking once you start, but it wasn't too difficult to manage.
