Hairy Bikers' sausage casserole

Really enjoyed this dish but it definitely took longer than I expected

Tasty winner and great as veggie options without meat I just added extra n beans to the sauve

Added Brussel sprouts and broccoli. Black beans instead of butter beans. Left out the sugar and the chilli. Tastes good, though took longer to cook than recipe suggests.

A really nice dish! Added a tsp of chipotle to give it extra flavour, also chopped some potatoes in to bulk it up.

Really tasty lovely with creamy mashed potatoes.

I left out the wine, and it is perfect without it. Very delicious and filling dish. Best thing what can happen with sausage and beans

Prefer cannellini beans so used them instead the whole family even fussy children enjoyed it

I like to add chorizo sausage, it's a game changer, I add it with the onions, name it at least once a month,

Easy to make. I have added a red pepper as had one that needed used. Tastes great and served with crusty bread.

Definitely in our rotation, Delicious balance of spices and herbs, Next time will add LESS SALT/NO SALT. I’d recommend cooking without the salt but add salt after cooking to taste, with the bacon it was already salty but the extra just made it overpowering. Enough about the salt! Definitely making again, and was tasty for something made in less than 1 hour! The butter beans definitely is a must have as it creates a good balance otherwise it may have become overpowering with the tomato sauces! Serve with some good old buttered bread to soak!

Used cajun seasoning instead of chilli/ paprika, chicken oxo, red onion, baked beans, instead of mixed beans , no sugar available. Served with sliced new potatoes and green beans. Rather salty but very tasty. Will try again as close to original recipe as I can.
