Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Put the asparagus in a roasting pan and drizzle with the olive oil.
Step 2
Sprinkle over the basil and season with salt and pepper. Gently stir to coat in the oil, then spread the asparagus in a single layer.
Step 3
Lay the slices of prosciutto on top of the asparagus and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crisp and the asparagus is just tender. Serve immediately.
