Gorgeously Garlicky Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing
5 steps
Prep:5min
I love ranch dressing, but the truth is that I'm not really a huge fan of mayo! I started playing around with using thick Greek yogurt instead of mayo in my homemade ranch dressing and I've never looked back! Ranch is SO easy to make in a pinch and the quantity of milk can be adjusted depending on how thick you'd like it (ie dip consistency vs. dressing consistency). I love this on salads, served alongside a grilled piece of fish, or of course spread on some toasted bread to jazz up a summertime BLT.

Ingredients
6 servings
1 cupfull-fat greek yogurt
can sub in mayo if you prefer!
45mlmilk
add more to thin out as needed
15mlextra virgin olive oil
5mllemon juice
3 clovesgarlic
finely minced
2gflaky sea salt
use a little less if using fine salt
2.5ggarlic powder
or garlic granules
3gonion granules
or dried chopped onion
3gdried parsley
optional
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl or in a large jar, stir together the Greek yogurt, milk, olive oil, lemon juice and minced garlic cloves until evenly combined.
Step 2
Add in the pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion granules and dried parsley and mix together until everything is mixed in nicely. Adjust the seasonings if you wish - maybe you'd like a little more salt or pepper, an extra clove of minced garlic or an extra squeeze of lemon.
Step 3
Let sit for at least 15 minutes before using. The dried garlic, parsley and onion need a little bit of time to soften up in the dressing.
Step 4
Add in more milk as needed once the dried ingredients have absorbed some of the liquid from the dressing. I find it'd a great consistency for dip or for spreading on sandwiches once the dressing has sat for a little while. If I plan to use as dressing, I just thin it out with a splash of milk as needed.
Step 5
Store in a sealed container or jar for up to 5 days in the fridge. Enjoy!
