Step 1
1. Add oil in a hot pan.
Step 2
2. Saute chopped garlic, onion (use only half an onion), red chili peppers and ginger until fragrant. You will need the other half (of the onion) later.
Step 3
3. One they are soft, mash them in a mortar and pestle.
Step 4
4. In a bowl, shred the fish and add the mashed garlic, onion, ginger, red chili pepper mixture.
Step 5
In the same bowl, add the uncooked vegetables (chopped cilantro, remaining onion and green chili peppers).
Step 6
Now add the mustard and salt (to taste) to the fish-vegetable mixture.
Step 7
Serve with chopped uncooked tomatoes and white rice (optional).
