Instructions
Step 1
Set oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
Tear bread and place in a large bowl.
Step 3
Add the milk and let soak for 5 minutes.
Step 4
In a separate bowl add the eggs, sugar, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. Set aside.
Step 5
Place the soaked bread in a blender and mix until the consistency of thick oatmeal. It should be smooth.
Step 6
Pour the mixture back into the bowl and add the egg mixture. Blend.
Step 7
Add the heavy cream and blend.
Step 8
Butter a pie pan thoroughly and add mix to the pie pan.
Step 9
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour.
Step 10
Allow pie to cool to set.
