Instructions
Step 1
Add sugar and water to a heavy bottomed pot stir then cook on a medium high heat and don’t stir at this stage anymore
Step 2
When the sugar starts to bubble put in a candy thermometer and as soon as it reaches 170 c 350 f ( you will see the color start to go golden ) mix in the peanuts and butter and now keep stirring and let it bubble up. Cook another 3 minutes stirring the whole time then turn off the heat
Step 3
After you turn the heat off add the baking powder and vanilla and stir quickly . Pour the mixture onto a greased lined baking sheet flatten slightly but don’t move the pieces around . Immediately sprinkle sea salt on top then let it sit about 30 minutes or until it cools down . The fun part is the snapping and eating . Enjoy 😉
