Butternut pumkin and bacon soup

Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil and cook onions and bacon over moderate heat for 6-8mins until onion is golden

Add pumpkin, carrots and stock and bring to the boil

simmer gently for 20mins

Use hand blender to process soup and season with salt and pepper

Serve with creme fraiche or youghurt, parsley and crispy steaky bacon
