Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 F. Melt 2 Tablespoons of butter in microwave. Add water, milk and honey to warm butter. Microwave again all together for 1 min, then stir and microwave another 15 sec until warm (but not hot).
Step 2
Pour butter mixture into mixing bowl (ensuring it’s not too hot). Sprinkle yeast on top. Stir once and then cover and let it foam up and activate for five minutes. Slowly add in 3.5 cups of flour and 1.5 tsp salt. Mix in electric stand mixer with dough hook (if dough sticking, add flour 1/4 cup at a time as needed, but do not add more than an additional 1/2 cup). Mix on low 4-5 minutes. Then form a dough ball and place in greased bowl. Cover with damp towel and let rise 15 min.
Step 3
Gently punch dough down and divide into 15 equal sized balls. Distribute balls in baking dish. Cover with damp towel again and let rise another 15-20 minutes. Brush with butter and bake 20-25 min until golden.
