Instructions

Step 1
In a deep pot, heat olive oil. Add chopped onions and cook until soft.
Step 2
Add garlic, thyme, and basil.
Step 3
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, cream, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
Step 4
Use an immersion blender to blend everything together. Add salt and sugar to taste, and serve with fresh basil.
