1onion
large, finely chopped

3cloves garlic
crushed

¼ cupolive oil

2 tspsalt

1 ½ tspblack pepper

1 tsponion powder

1 tspgarlic powder

1 tsporegano

1 tspMix Italian Herbs

700gPassata Sauce

2 TbsTomato Paste

400gcrushed tomatoes

fresh basil leaves

1 ½ cupswater

1 tspsalt

1 tspMix Italian Herbs

½ tsporegano

375gFresh Lasagne Sheets

450gmozzarella cheese
Béchamel Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Brown the Onion and Garlic in Olive Oil over high heat for 5 minutes.



Step 2
Add the Mince and cook for 3 minutes.

Step 3
Add the seasonings and cook for a further 10 minutes.






Step 4
Add the Passata Sauce, rinse the bottle with water and add it in.


Step 5
Add the Tomato Paste and Crushed Tomatoes.


Step 6
Finely chop the fresh basil leaves and add them in.

Step 7
Add more seasonings, give them a good mix, lower the heat and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.



Béchamel Sauce

Melt the butter over high heat.

Step 9
Add the Flour and mix until combined

Gradually add the milk in while mixing continuously.

Bring to a light simmer, lower the heat and mix in the cheese.

Continuously mix until it thickens then turn the heat off.
Layer the Lasagne

Begin by layering some Meat sauce at the bottom of the tray.

Then place the fresh lasagne sheets on top

Add more Meat sauce, some Béchamel sauce, then Mozzarella Cheese

Step 16
Repeat the process. The last layers should be the Meat Sauce, topped with Béchamel sauce and completely cover with Mozzarella Cheese.
Step 17
Bake in a Pre-heated at 180° Celsius for approximately 35-40 minutes or until the cheese has melted and golden in colour.
