Philly Cheesesteak Inspired Meal Prep
1 lb lean ground beef (can use shredded beef as well)
1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
2 green bell peppers
1 yellow onion
2 jalapeños (can omit if you don’t want spice)
2 cups pre chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese
Seasoning:
Worcestershire Sauce
Minced Garlic or Garlic Powder
Paprika
Salt + Pepper
1. Cut up bell pepper and onions
2. Add 1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice to two cups of water and simmer stovetop for about 8 minutes covered until rice is cooked
3. Add bell pepper, onion, mushrooms and seasoning (measure if your heart) to a pan with a little avocado oil
4. Sauté until veggies soften, set aside
5. Add ground beef and additional seasonings to pan
6. Cook until not longer red
7. Assemble 4 bowls with rice, veggies, and beef, top with pepperjack cheese
8. Enjoy heated, optional to add additional sauce after hearing before eating like a Chipotle Mayo or bitchin sauce
