If you love crispy potatoes then you will love this . It’s very easy to make only 4 ingredients excluding salt and pepper and it’s so crispy and yummy you will be making these all the time I promise

Instructions
Step 1
Peel 5 medium size potatoes then use the fine setting on a box grater and grate the potatoes into a bowl . Squeeze the liquid from the potatoes and reserve it as the starch we will use later will separate from it

Put the grated potatoes into a different bowl then grate in one small onion using the fine setting on the grater . Add one egg salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of nutmeg then mix it all together

Step 3
Drain the liquid out of the bowl and the white starch will be let on the bottom. Scrape this off then add it to the potatoes and mix it in to bind the potatoes
Step 4
Heat oil on medium high heat . I use a chopstick and put it in the oil and when bubbles appear I know the oil is hot enough to fry . Drop large spoonfuls of mixture into the pan and flatten them out . Cook until golden and crispy then flip and cook another minute . Drain on paper towels then serve with your favorite sauce
