Step 1
Cut the stem off of the puff ball mushroom then peel off its outer layer . If you got this from the Forrest make sure you cut it in the middle to ensure there are no insects on it . Slice into 1/2 inch thick slices
Step 2
In three bowls add first flour , to the second one add the eggs and to the third add breadcrumbs . Season all with salt and pepper to taste then divide the garlic powder onion powder and paprika and whisk then all until combined . If you are vegan use a plant based milk or yogurt instead of the eggs

Step 3
Dip the mushroom slices into the flour coating well then dip into the egg tap off the excess and coat completely in the breadcrumbs . Repeat for the other slices then fry bake or air fry until golden and crispy . To fry heat oil on medium heat then fry until crispy to bake 200 c / 400 f fan setting for 20 minutes and to air fry 190 c / 380 f for 12 minutes or until golden and crispy
