Step 1
Combine everything into a pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and put into sterilized canning jars. Seal canning jars in a boiling water bath.
Step 2
Place cucumber and onion slices into clean canning jars. Boil vinegar, sugar and spices until sugar is dissolved. Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers. Let cool at room temperature for an hour. Cover and refrigerate.
