How to Make Isaacs Pepperjack Tomato Soup Recipe at Home

1onion
medium, chopped

¼ cupbutter

2 x 10 ouncecans diced tomatoes
drained
2 x 10 ouncecans of condensed tomato soup
do not dilute

1 ½ cupsmilk

½ teaspoonblack pepper

1 teaspoonsalt

½ teaspoonpaprika

1 teaspoonsugar

½ teaspoonbasil

1 teaspoonpowdered garlic

1 x 8 ouncecream cheese

6 ouncespepperjack cheese
grated

Tobasco
or other hot sauce of your liking

In a large sauce pan, sauté the onion in the butter until it’s tender.
Step 3
Stir in the tomatoes, condensed soup, pepper, salt, basil, sugar, paprika, and garlic powder.
Step 4
Bring it to a boil, reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Then stir in the milk, cream cheese, and pepperjack cheese until melted.
Step 5
Add a few drops of your choice of hot pepper sauce.

This will make 8 servings (2 quarts)

Allow the cream cheese to soften on the counter or place in the microwave for 15 seconds before adding it to the mix.

You can use an electric mixer to blend in the cheese more and smooth out the tomato chunks.

replace the usually salty cans of tomatoes with a low or no sodium option
