If you’ve been thinking about making bread I hope you give this is a try, it’s easier then you think. 💕
Dough:
500g bread flour
7g (I sachet) dry yeast
1/2 Tbs salt
460g Luke warm water
1/4 cup olive oil
Olive oil for greasing
Topping:
4 x tbs olive oil
1 x crushed garlic
Fresh Rosemary
- mix flour, salt and yeast
- add the water & olive oil & mix till combined (it will be sticky) to get the right temperature of water I use 330ml cold and 130ml of freshly boiled water.
- cover and rest for 30min
- after 30 min fold 8 times as shown in the reel (wet your fingers first)
- cover and rest for 45 min
- make your garlic olive oil and set aside
- grease spatula and your tin well. If you’re not using a non stick dish line the bottom with some greaseproof paper
- using the spatula pour the dough into the dish, fold twice and turn it 90° so it’s vertical and gently stretch the dough to fit the dish.
- Cover and rest for 45 min
- preheat oven to 200C
- after resting time wet your fingers and gently dimple the dough all over.
- pour garlic oil over and press some rosemary into the dimples. Careful not to pop any bubbles.
- bake for 20 - 25 min (I baked for about 23)
- take out of the tin to cool on a rack
Enjoy D xx
