Salmon with Sesame Glaze

Instructions

Step 1
Whisk together your marinade ingredients and pour over the salmon filets
Step 2
Marinate for 30 minutes or up to 4 hours
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 400
Step 4
Toss your snap peas with 2 tsp sesame oil, garlic power, and about 1/2 tsp salt
Step 5
Roast in the oven for 10 minutes, toss, and roast for another 5 minutes

Add 1 tbsp of avocado oil to a stainless steel pan
Step 7
Remove your salmon from the marinade but don't discard the marinade
Step 8
Place a piece of unbleached parchment paper in the pan, coating on both sides with the avocado oil
Step 9
Heat the pan over medium low
Step 10
Add your salmon filets, skin-side up, and cook for 4 minutes Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes (depending on how done you like your salmon)
Step 11
Remove the salmon and the parchment from the pan and turn to low
Step 12
Add your marinade to the pan and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, allowing the sauce to cook down Serve your salmon and snap peas with rice, garnish with sesame seeds, and drizzle with your reduced marinade
