Instructions

Step 1
> PREHEAT OVEN to 180°C. Line an oven tray with foil.
Step 2
Heat oil in a heavy-based frying pan. Add onion and garlic and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes or until onion is soft. Add all the spices and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Step 3
Add chicken mince to pan and cook for 10 minutes until almost all liquid has evaporated, stirring occa sionally. Stir in peas, coriander and salt to taste. Remove from heat; cool.
Step 4
Using a small plate or saucer as a guide, cut 10 cm circles from pastry with a sharp knife. Place a level tablespoon of mixture in the centre of each circle. Fold over and pleat the edges to seal. Place on prepared tray and brush with beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
