Bark Cracker Candy

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and a single layer of saltines.

Step 3

Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan until a bit thick. Pour mixture evenly over crackers.

Step 4

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until it's slightly brown.

Step 5

Remove from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Bake for another minute or so to just melt the chocolate.

Step 6

Bake for another minute or so to melt the chocolate

Step 7

Remove from the oven and top with your favorite toppings like nuts or sprinkles.

Step 8

Cool at room temperature, then freeze. Once frozen, break apart the bark.
