Ingredients

1 blocktofu
1 Tbspchili crisp
1 ½ Tbspsoy sauce
2 Tbspcornstarch
3green onions
greens only, finely sliced
1 Tbspsesame oil
for the sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Tear tofu into bite sized pieces and place into a large mixing bowl. Add soy sauce and chili crisp, and gently toss to coat. Sprinkle over cornstarch and toss to coat once more. Place in the basket of an air fryer and air fry at 400 degrees for 25 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to toss the tofu. If using an oven, preheat to 400 degrees, and bake tofu on a parchment or silicone lined baking sheet for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Step 2
While the tofu is cooking, in a small bowl mix together soy sauce, mirin, vegan oyster sauce, rice vinegar, chili crisp, cornstarch, and water.
Step 3
In a wok or medium sized pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add green onion whites and sauté until translucent, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant. Whisk the sauce in the bowl once more to make sure the cornstarch hasn’t settled to the bottom, and pour into the wok. Stir the sauce constantly for 2-3 minutes u til thickened. Add crispy tofu, the greens of the green onions, and sesame oil. Gently toss to combine.
Step 4
Serve with rice, broccoli and/or edemame, extra green onion, and sesame seeds!
