1 Tbspcanola oil

2garlic cloves
finely minced

1brown onion
finely chopped

1carrot
grated

1zucchini
grated

500gbeef mince
Teriyaki sauce

Instructions
Step 1
Teriyaki sauce - mix the ingredients in a small bowl
Step 2
Cook vegetables - heat oil in a very large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add the garlic and onion, then stir for 2 minutes until the onion is translucent. Add the carrot and zucchini, then cook further for 3 minutes until the water leaches out of the vegetables and it mostly evaporates
Step 3
Cook beef - add the beer and cook, breaking it up as you go, until it changes from red to light brown. Add the teriyaki sauce and cook for 4 minutes until the sauce evaporates and the beef is a little caramelised.
Step 4
Serve - serve the teriyaki beef over rice, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion (if using) and a side of steamed vegetables.
