Instructions

Step 1
Dice veggies and chicken.
Step 2
In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook onion and pepper until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the chicken and spices. Cook until just browned on the outside, 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Add the chicken broth, tomatoes, milk, and barbecue sauce and stir until combined. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat and add in the pasta.
Step 5
Reduce heat to medium-low, and cook on a low simmer, stirring often, until pasta is al dente, about 15 minutes.
Step 6
Stir in cheese and cornstarch. Mix until thickened.
