A cheese ball is the perfect party appetizer. Easy to make ahead of time and served with an assortment of crackers or toasted bread everyone loves them. This classic dried beef cheese ball has chipped beef - or beef jerky! - mixed in and then gets rolled in more. It's certainly for the meat lover and it's everything they dream about.

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bell pepper, 1/4 cup dried beef, 1 green onion, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and cayenne. Season with salt and pepper.

Form into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours.

On a plate, combine remaining ¾ cup dried beef and remaining green onion. Unwrap cheese ball and roll into dried beef mixture to coat the outside.
