Instructions
Step 1
Place the water in a pot and bring it to a boil. In a mortar, add all the spices and ginger and crush lightly.
Step 2
Once the water boils, add the crushed spices and the black tea leaves. Boil for 5 minutes (the longer the better)
Step 3
Finally, add the milk and bring to a boil once again. Turn the heat off and add the sugar, and once dissolved the chai is ready! Strain and serve hot
