Cajun shrimp pasta

Instructions

Step 1
Boil noodles until al-dente, drain and rinse with cold water, and keep soaked in some cold water if not using right away.
Step 2
On medium heat melt the butter and whisk in flour until flour is cooked.
Step 3
Slowly pour in milk in a thin stream whisking constantly so there are no lumps. Cook until heated through and thickened a bit.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper. Also add in cajun spice mix to taste.
Step 5
Reduce heat to medium low and mix in the cheese until melted.
Step 6
Add in chopped sun-dried tomatoes and noodles and mix well and heat through.

For shrimp

Step 7
Season the shrimps with salt and pepper. Then sprinkle cajun seasoning to taste (about 1-2 tsp or more if you want spicier).
Step 8
Mix in the flour to coat all shrimp pieces.
Step 9
In a shallow frying pan heat the olive oil and butter.
Step 10
Fry the shrimps carefully for 2 minutes on each side until crispy and cooked. Do not overcook.
Step 11
Serve shrimps with noodles.
