Instructions

Step 1
Heat some oil in a large frying pan on medium heat and toss in the onion and garlic. Sauté until softening then add the carrots, celery and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until softening.
Step 2
Add the mince and incorporate then pour over the tomatoes, tomato purée, milk, herbs and balsamic vinegar. Mix and season to taste. Then bring to the boil.
Step 3
Add around 1/8 to 1/4 tin of water and add to the sauce. Return to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
