Instructions

For the cake

Step 1
​Preheat oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Grease two loaf pans or two 9 inches cake pans.
Step 3
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Step 4
Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in boiling water. Batter will be thin.
Step 6
Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 7
Cool for 5 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.

For the icing

Step 8
Melt the butter in a saucepan and Whisk it with the cocoa powder.
Step 9
Add the icing sugar, vanilla and milk. Mix until creamy and rich.
Step 10
Spread the icing in between the two layers and around the cake. Sprinkle with icing sugar if desired. Let cool for 5 minutes for the icing to set. Enjoy!
