Cream Sauce

Step 1
Preheat Oven to 375F degrees
Step 2
Flatten chicken breasts with the flat of a tenderizing mallet and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Layer ham and swiss cheese slices on top of chicken breasts and roll the stack such that they are wrapped in the chicken. Place the rolls, seam down in a baking dish.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the rolls to lightly coat them. If the breasts seem to dry for the breadcrumbs to stick, lightly spray them with cooking spray before adding the breadcrumbs.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.

Melt butter in a small sauce pan.

Add flour while stirring and cook for 1-2 minutes

Add milk while whisking constantly over medium heat until the sauce begins to bubble and thicken.

Add the Dijon mustard and parmesan cheese. Continuing stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Reduce heat to keep the sauce warm but not continue to cook it.
