Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 140 degrees (regular bake)
Step 2
Put the nuts in a food processor and mix until a bit chopped up
Step 3
Add to a bowl along with the other base ingredients and mix well
Step 4
In a small pot over a low heat, add the coating ingredients and stir until fully melted/dissolved. Pour over the base and mix until coated
Step 5
Spread out on a large baking tray with a wee dip in the middle - so the outside edges are higher than the middle section
Step 6
Bake until golden brown (about 45 minutes?), stirring often. It will remain soft so just go by colour
Step 7
Mix in the apricot and coconut chips, then put back in the oven until the coconut chips are just starting to brown (about 5 minutes)
Step 8
Take out of the oven, mix in the dehydrated pear, and leave to cool
Step 9
Pop in a jar once completely cool/dry
