Step 1
1. Rinse and pat the beans dry. Sautee on high with a bit of oil until firm on the outside and breaking open a little bit. (Do not skip this step or you will have mushy beans)

2. Empty the can of crushed, fire-roasted tomatoes in your Instant pot. Add half a can of additional water and either blend or mash (unless you can find a fire roasted sauce!)

-Now add one half teaspoon of baking soda. This cuts acid and takes the "canned tomato" flavor right out.
Step 4
3. Add in your 2 cups of chopped kale and stir around to thaw & break it up.

-add any additional ingredients

4. SEASON with salt and spices to your preference (I'm pretty basic with some powdered garlic and oregano)

5. Add those sautéed beans, all of them!
Step 8
6. Cook high pressure for 12 mins. Triple your time for a pot at the stove.

7. Top and serve.
