Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your Weber grill with two charcoal bins for a medium-high heat. Mix the minced beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. (Ingredients: minced beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, salt, pepper; Devices/Utensils: Bowl, Grill)
Step 2
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side for medium, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty, if using, to melt. Meanwhile, grill the bacon slices until crispy and set aside. (Ingredients: Beef patties, bacon, cheddar cheese; Devices/Utensils: Grill)
Step 3
Slice the avocados and lightly grill the burger buns on the grill for a minute. Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the buns, then layering lettuce leaves, tomato slices, the beef patty with cheese, crispy bacon, and avocado slices. Cap with the top bun and serve immediately. (Ingredients: Avocados, burger buns, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, mustard; Devices/Utensils: Knife, Grill)
