Hey everyone! This week, I wanted to share with you my recipe I use to make a basic cheese and tomato pizza!
It's super easy, doesn't cost the earth, and with a bit of practice, I guarantee you'll be making this again and again! (Even the kids can get involved)
The best part is you can top this basic version with literally anything you fancy to take it to the next level!
Not bad for a pizza in a pan, right?

Step 1
Start by making the dough. To a large bowl add the flour, water, yeast and honey.
Step 2
Knead together by hand or mixer until the dough is smooth and elastic. Then add the salt and knead out again on a floured surface until well incorporated.
Step 3
Place the dough into a clean bowl and cover over and leave to proof at room temperature or preferably over night in the fridge until doubled in size.
Step 4
Once doubled in size, knock the dough back, cut into 4 equal pieces and mould into smooth balls.
Step 5
Place into a container lightly floured and leave to prove at room temperature for approximately 1 hour.

Once doubled in size, roll one of the dough balls out into an oven proof pan (as per the video)
Step 7
For the sauce, simply tip the entire can of tomatoes into a bowl and add the minced garlic along with the chopped basil and salt. Mix well.
Step 8
Now add a few spoonful's of the tomato sauce mix to the pizza then spread out evenly and top with the cheddar cheese, mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 9
Place the pan on the stove on a medium heat and begin to bake until the base begins to brown. You can keep an eye on this by carefully using a slice to peel the side of the pizza up to check.
Step 10
Finally, place the whole thing into a pre heated oven at 250'c until the pizza is fully baked, golden brown and the cheese is dancing! Happy Cooking!
