Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Puree the onion.
Step 3
Mix the bag of thawed, shredded potatoes to the sour cream, onion, cream of chicken soup, and 2 cups of cheddar.
Step 4
Melt the butter and pour over the cheese.
Step 5
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Mix well and add to a lightly greased casserole dish.
Step 7
Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top of the mix.
Step 8
Bake for 1 hour at 400 degrees.
