1 cupchickpeas
3 cupswater
boiled in tea
2 cupswater
1onion

2tomatoes
cinnamon
cloves
bay leaf
coriander powder

For the Tadka

Step 1
Soak chana overnight.
Step 2
Put chana in the slow cooker with all the ingredients and let it cook for hours (on level 2). It takes anywhere between 4-5 hours (sometimes more).
Step 3
Once it's done, mash some of the chana, tomatoes and onions to thicken the gravy. Make the tadka and pour it into the slow cooker. Let it cook on 'Warm' for a while.
