Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat

Pick the leaves off the basil and set aside

Finely chop the onion, carrot, celery, red pepper and basil stems, crush the garlic clove, and add to the pan. Cook until soft
Step 4
Add the pork mince to the pan and cook for 10 minutes until the water from the meat boils away
Step 5
Add the red wine and cook until evaporated
Step 6
Add the sauce, then fill the jar with water and add to the pan. Stir and simmer for 30 minutes until the sauce has thickened
Step 7
Cook the spaghetti, drain, and plate
Step 8
Stir the basil leaves through the sauce and then serve over the spaghetti
