Ingredients
5 servings
1 boxpenne pasta
1 tspsalt
1.5 lbsshrimp
large, peeled and de-veined
1 tspsalt
1 tsppepper
1 tspgarlic powder
1 Tbsppaprika
1 Tbspoil
2 Tbspcorn starch
2 Tbspoil
2 Tbspoil
4 Tbspunsalted butter
2 Tbspgarlic
1 cuponion
diced
1 cupred and yellow bell pepper
ยฝ tspsalt
ยฝ tsppepper
1 tspgarlic powder
1 tsppaprika
2 cupsheavy cream
3 cupsspinach
ยฝ cuppasta water
1 cupparmesan cheese
1 Tbspcrushed pepper

Instructions
Step 1
Boil water and add salt. Cook penne for 2 minutes less than the box instructions. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water. Drain.
Step 2
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oil, and cornstarch. Mix together. In a pan, heat up oil and cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side. Donโt overcook. Cooking time is less is your shrimp is smaller. Remove from pan.
Step 3
Using the same pan, add oil and butter. Add garlic, onion and bell pepper. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add heavy cream, spinach, pasta water, parmesan cheese and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add penne pasta and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add shrimp back to pan and top with crushed red pepper.
