Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
Step 2
Heat the milk in a non-stick pan until hot but not quite boiling. Meanwhile, mix the cornflour with 4 tbsp milk to form a paste and then add to the pan. Stir continuously until it starts to thicken. Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese, salt and pepper.
Step 3
In a separate pan, cook the broccoli for 4-5 minutes until just tender, drain and then add the spinach. Leave for 1-2 minutes - the heat from the broccoli will wilt the spinach
Step 4
Drain the pasta, then stir in the cheese sauce, broccoli, spinach and walnuts. Spoon in an ovenproof dish and top with a little extra cheese. Place under a hot grill for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts and starts to turn golden. Serve with a leafy salad.
