Here’s how you can make this recipe at home ☺️
Ingredients:
Paneer 250g
Salt & Pepper
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4th tsp haldi powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsps atta
2 tbsps butter
1 onion - finely chopped
1 green chilly - finely chopped
3 cloves garlic - finely chopped
1 cup milk- more if required
1.5 cups spinach- roughly chopped
Salt & Pepper
Roasted Veggies:
Broccoli
Carrot
Zucchini
Serve with rice mixed with coriander, lime and butter
Process:
- Marinate the paneer slices with salt and pepper on both sides
- Add the ginger garlic paste and all the dry spices, coat to combine
- Cover and fridge for 20-30 minutes
- Fry the marinated paneer in some oil, once brown on one side, carefully flip it over and cook on the other side
- For the sauce: In the same a pan- sauté the onion, garlic and green chilly
- Add the butter and atta and mix well
- Cook the atta for a few minutes and add the milk a little bit at a time
- Keep mixing continuously to aviod any lumps forming
- Once it’s nice and smooth - add spinach, salt and pepper to season
- Cook until the spinach wilts and cooks well
- Using a hand blender pulse this mixture to help the spinach break down and sauce become smoother
- Serve the paneer with rice and veggies, top it up with the sauce and enjoy!
