Instructions
Step 1
Pour enough water into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Place the broccoli upside down in the water. Broccoli is packed with florets, so washing under running water alone might not remove all the impurities.
Step 2
Let it soak for about 10 minutes. Since broccoli can float, put another bowl on top to submerge it.
Step 3
After 10 minutes, discard the water and rinse the broccoli again. Cut the broccoli into appropriate sizes.
Step 4
Trim the stem and cut it into smaller pieces. Don't discard the stem as it's also nutritious. Cut it into sizes that are easy to eat and cook as you like.
