Instructions

Step 1
Cook the bacon and chop. Set aside. Chop onion and mince the garlic. Chop potato into bite size pieces. Remove thick stems from the kale.
Step 2
In a Dutch oven, brown sausage, onion and garlic in the bacon grease. Continue cooking until the sausage is cooked ant he onions soften.
Step 3
Pour in broth and bring to a boil. Add bacon and potatoes and simmer until potatoes are tender.
Step 4
Reduce heat and add kale and heavy cream. Cook 5-10 minutes more until the kale is softened. Add flour or Wondra to thicken if desired.
