Ingredients

For the Sauce:
¼ cupreduced-sodium soy sauce
2 Tbspoyster sauce
2 Tbspreduced-sodium fish sauce
2 Tbspbrown sugar
1 Tbspchili garlic sauce
For the Stir-Fry:
Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients - reduced-sodium soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and chili garlic sauce. Set aside.
Step 2
Heat canola oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add lean ground beef to the pan and cook until browned.
Step 4
Add minced garlic, sliced onion, sliced red bell pepper, and mixed vegetables to the pan. Stir-fry for about a minute until the vegetables start to soften.
Step 5
Pour in the sauce and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for a few more minutes until the vegetables are tender and the protein is cooked through.
Step 6
Add Thai basil leaves to the pan and continue to stir-fry until the basil is wilted and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 7
Serve the stir-fry over cooked brown rice or whole wheat noodles.
Step 8
Garnish with additional Thai basil leaves, if desired.
