This bread is simple to make and super delicious. Recipe makes 2 loaves. I make it every Sunday for our bread for the week. It slices wonderfully too.

Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, add the yeast, then warm water and honey, mix well. Let this sit a bit until it blooms or gets foamy
Whisk
Step 2
Add in salt and oil and mix it well
Whisk
Step 3
Slowly pour in the flour, mixing with spatula or spoon. After about 4 cups of the flour you should be able to mix by hand while incorporating the remaining flour. You want it to be slightly sticky but not sticking to your fingers or bowl as much.
Spatula
Wooden Spoon
Step 4
Set the bowl aside and cover with a towel for about 2hrs. Or until the dough doubles in size
Step 5
Punch down the dough and dump onto a lightly floured surface. Rolling it into a log shape and then cut in half
Step 6
With each half, flatten out the dough and then starting on one side, softly roll it up like a rug.
Step 7
I place a sprinkle of cornmeal at the bottom of my bread pan, this is optional. Place the 2 rolled up dough into each bread pan. Cover the pans with the towel again and let rise until they doubled in size. Usually about 1-1.5hrs
Step 8
After they have rised a bit over the top of the bread pan. Bake at 375° for 35min
Step 9
Let cool for 10min, and then dump the pan and they will fall right out. Let cool additional time on a wire rack. I sometimes wait a couple hours before slicing as it will slice more evenly for you. But your preference! 😃
