Instructions
Step 1
Add 50 ml warm water ( not hot just warm ) to a bowl with the yeast and 1 tbsp of honey and mix. Let it bloom for 5 minutes .
Step 2
Add flour to a large mixing bowl with the yeast mixture the remaining tbsp of honey sourdough starter buttermilk and softened butter then add the water and mix until combined . The dough should be sticky but manageable .
Step 3
Flour your hands and bring the dough together into a ball then grease the bowl put the dough in cover and let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place
Step 4
Butter a loaf pan then gently place the dough into the pan shaping it but not pressing down on it . Brush with water then bake at 210 c for 40 minutes or until golden on top then cool on a wire rack brush with butter and serve .
