Instructions
Step 1
Place the uncooked rice in a medium sized resealable freezer bag. Seal.
Step 2
Brown the beef.
Step 3
Chop the onion and green pepper.
Step 4
Add the cooled ground beef, tomatoes, onion, green pepper, and seasonings to a large resealable freezer bag.
Step 5
Squish to combine.
Step 6
Remove the excess air and seal.
Step 7
Staple the bag containing the rice to the larger bag above the seal.
Step 8
Freeze.
cook / reheat
Step 9
Thaw.
Step 10
Remove the staples (carefully).
Step 11
Dump the contents of both bags to the slow cooker.
Step 12
Add one cup of water and stir.
Step 13
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
