Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400F.
Step 2
Carefully cut the spaghetti squash in half and the stem off the top and bottom. Remove any seeds.
Step 3
Add 1 tsp olive oil to each half and season with salt and pepper. Face cut side down on a baking sheet and bake for 40-50 minutes. (Until fork tender)
Step 4
While that’s in the oven to a pan brown the Italian sausage. Stir in the sauce until meat is coated.
Step 5
Once spaghetti squash is fork tender take a fork and shred the inside to make it look like pasta.
Step 6
Split the meat mixture evenly between the halves and stir until each noodle is coated.
Step 7
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
