Homemade Canes Sauce (Low Calorie)
Homemade Canes Sauce (Low Calorie)
This literally tastes identical to what you get eating at Cane’s - with only 5 very common ingredients, and for 1/3 the calories. The most important part, if you want it to taste like actual Cane’s sauce, is to use the same brands I show in the video. I tested with various different light mayos, ketchups, and Worcestershire sauces - and while it still makes a great sauce, to get the exact same distinctive flavor as Cane’s, the brand selection is very important (I also noted each brand in the ingredients below)

Vs Cane’s version (40g):

19g Fat
This makes ~13 servings that are 40g each (1.5oz or about the same amount you get in a sauce cup at Cane’s)
300g Hellman’s light mayo*
150g Heinz no sugar added ketchup**
60g Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
1.5 tsp salt and pepper (adjust to taste)
*Kraft also works
**Has to be Heinz otherwise it won’t taste close to normal Cane’s sauce
Store in an airtight container for 7-10 days in the fridge, could probably last up to 3 weeks. I used an empty hot sauce bottle for storage 👍
